'Brain Trainer' is built upon the famous "Stroop effect," which was discovered by J. Ridley Stroop in the 1930s. This fascinating phenomenon explains that when the name of a color (e.g., "blue," "green," or "red") is printed in a color different from the name itself (e.g., the word "red" printed in blue ink instead of red ink), people take longer to name the color of the word and are more likely to make mistakes. This interference between different information that the brain receives from various areas causes difficulties in selecting an appropriate response. It was later revealed that the anterior cingulate cortex actively participates in this task.

The 'Brain Trainer' app offers a variety of mini-games designed to stimulate and develop the anterior cingulate cortex, which is responsible for working memory, error detection, conflict monitoring, motivation, attention, modulation of emotional responses, and other cognitive functions.
